Intermediate Classes
You’ve already spent hours at the workbench learning how to sharpen, improving your hand-eye coordination and rediscovering the joy of working with your hands. The foundation is laid. Now, it’s time for another challenge!
Our intermediate courses move past practice exercises and step into the rewarding challenge of project-driven woodworking. This is where your foundational hand skills meet hardwood to turn raw wood into a heirloom. You won’t just be cutting joints to practice a technique; you’ll be cutting them to support a lifetime of family meals, or to hold a generation of memories.
Imagine running your hand over the sweep of a rocking chair you shaped yourself, or watching your children lift the lid of a blanket chest fitted with traditional joinery you cut entirely by hand… Whether it’s a solid dining table where your family will gather for decades or a rocking chair for quiet meditation, these projects are built using the time-tested methods that modern manufacturing abandoned long ago.
This is your invitation to slow down, lean into the craft, and reinforce your skills through intentional work. Come back to the workshop, pick up the chisel and handplane and create that heirloom that will outlive you. Your family will pass it down for centuries—and it all starts with your own two hands.
if there is a specific class you want to take but it’s not scheduled, then please send us an email and we will let you know when the class date is posted.
